Vintage from the 1900s Material soapstone Description Stunning antique soapstone bud vase flower decoration original stand, intricately carved out of a smoky, matte Chinese soapstone. This late 19th century Chinese soapstone vase of flat-back waisted design, with a flared rim. Beautifully decorated to the front with a high-relief flower branch. The vase comes with its original soapstone stand, carved in the form of a beautiful stand with four feet. The vase and the stand are attached. The vase is a light-brown, dark cream colour contrasting with the deep brown stand. The vase is made very skilfully, the details of the carving are very deals delicate, everything speaks of the master's hand. Stands 20 cm. Weighs 964 grams.
