Vintage Mele Jewelry Box 4 Tier Black Cover & Red w 18 Pcs Vintage Jewelry. This Mele jewelry box measures 12.5" long, 8" wide and 4.5" tall. It has black faux leather on the outside with green/gold scroll and gold colored hardwood. The snap lock works but there is no key. Box opens fine but makes a deals "snap" sound when the bottom drawer pops out. Has red velvet lining that has some black stains (see photos). The box itself has some wear but is in overall great vintage condition. Inside you will find 6 pairs of clip earrings, 6 brooches, 2 lapel pins and 4 necklaces. All in working order. I call this "Grandma's Jewelry Box" because that it what it looks like when you open the lid!.
