There are two painted and designed gourds, the top of which have human heads. The bodies are round. The background color of the gourds is a light yellow tan color. The designs are burnt engraved black. There is a wide band on the upper section of the body which is a black color with splotched deals designs in a brown color. Each gourd has different but similar designs: geometric shapes, human figures, curved lines, stars, lattice work designs, and a snake. One of the gourds has a star on the round bottom underside. Both gourds are tied together with string and leather. All the markings are etched.
