Gorgeous 1991 Teen Talk Barbie featuring the beautiful 1987 Christie face mold!! Barbie is ready to gab to you about all her interests, secrets, and aspirations and look fabulous while she's doing it. Her outfit is quintessential early 90s Cottagecore fabulousness (long before the term Cottagecore was even realized)! Barbie has violet eyes and long, luxurious, curly locks! Doll is in excellent condition, box has some deals minor scuffs but in good shape all around. Teen Talk Barbie was controversial largely because of the "math is tough" phrase, which only a few thousand dolls even uttered. This doll wouldn't have been made today and I think that's what's so fabulous about her. She's a relic reflecting the culture of the time and Mattel learned a lot from this very public blunder.
