Sterling Silver shiny Rhodium Finish 7.5” Name Tag Bracelet, Mint Condition from the 1960's. Weighs 3/4 Oz. Made by the American Gold Chain Co., Inc. The ID Plate would, in the 1960's, be inscribed by a jeweler with your name. Popular with teens in the 1960's. Has original plastic shell container, marked “patent pending” on the back. Bracelet is marked, “AMERICAN STERLING” on the back of the ID and on the clasp. The Rhodium Finish over the Sterling Silver really works since there is no tarnish on this silver ID bracelet even though it's 60 years old. Green felt backing, you can even see a few strands of this felt on the deals magnified pictures of the “aAMERICAN STERLING” logo inscriptions. Tag says this is a “HAND-CRAFTED BRACELET” and has a certificate of guarantee. Faded paper tag on side of white plastic box says SRAP 71 99 SHORT. This very collectible Midcentury American perfect mint time capsule artifact of Americana is valuable, Museum Quality memorabilia. Comes with cardboard slip.
