Vintage, Moroccan Hand Crank Coffee Grinder, made from Hand Carved Tamarisk Wood with Hand Engraved Metal Embellishments. This vintage hand-crank coffee grinder is made of hand-carved tamarisk wood, with hand-engraved copper, brass and painted coin silver melange embellishments. The front of the grinder has a small removable drawer. Used for grinding coffee or spices. Made primarily of tamarisk wood, brass, copper, & coin silver. Please note that coin silver is NOT sterling. Dated approximately early to mid 20th century. Measures approximately 7.6” inches tall by 5” inches by 5” inches wide, plus another 1/2” inches for drawer & handle. Weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces. While the grinder is in working condition, food use is deals not recommended without proper rust removal and cleaning. Item has not been cleaned as to preserve the metalwork without proper experience. This item has some wear including rust and metal discoloration. This item is as pictured.
